What gets installed

Permanent outdoor lighting for Nashville homes

Permanent roofline lighting in Nashville is a low-profile line of LEDs under your roofline, installed by licensed, insured and certified installers, that works as permanent Christmas lights in December and as warm white or any color you choose the rest of the year.

Permanent Lighting Solutions brings permanent lights to homes near Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin, Hendersonville and Belle Meade.

Our installers put permanent house lights on the roofline itself: an aluminum channel mounted along the fascia or soffit, with the diodes pointing down and out of sight. Some installers call it a track. On brick, stone, stucco or siding, it runs under the eave the same way. By day the install is basically invisible. No ugly holiday lights hanging all year.

If you are comparing permanent lighting companies, ask each one what stays on the house after the holidays.

Every December

Permanent Christmas lights in Nashville

Christmas light installation in Nashville usually means a ladder in November and another climb in January. A permanent roofline skips both trips. Our installers put it up once, and from then on December is red and green from your phone, with a sunset schedule that lights the house every evening.

Real houses, real nights

See it on real houses

Every frame below is a photograph of a real house at night, with nothing drawn on top. The first night it comes on, you will walk out to the street to look at your own house for a while.

A long single story ranch house at night under a deep blue sky, each gable and eave picked out in its own color, green on some and magenta on others, with the individual white nodes visible along every run and warm uplighting in the planting beds.
Pick the color from your couch and the whole front changes. Nobody goes up a ladder for it, and nothing goes in your garage in between.
Set it once and you stop thinking about it. Your house looks like this on an ordinary Tuesday in March, not only in December.
A close view of one gable at night. Small points of light sit in a channel under the roof edge and wash warm light down the stucco face below.
From the street you see the light and never the thing making it. The nodes sit in a channel tucked under the roof edge, pointing down.
A two story board and batten farmhouse at night, its three dormer gables lit blue, red and blue over a front washed deep red and violet, with a lit walk up to the porch.
A white stucco manor at dusk with every gable, dormer and eave lit bright green, the arched entry and a fountain in the forecourt below.
A large gray craftsman house at night with red, white and blue running along every gable, dormer and porch edge, and a lit flower border across the front.

You are not buying three systems. One install covers the holiday, the game and every night in between, and the color is a setting rather than another trip up a ladder.

Install day

Nobody is on your roof improvising

Our installers measure, cut and color the channel to your house before anyone arrives with a ladder. What happens at the house is one run along the roof edge, a controller wired indoors, and a clean driveway when the van leaves.

  1. 01

    Measured and cut to fit

The roofline is measured, and the channel is cut and colored to your house, so what arrives already fits it.
  2. 02

Channel up under the roof edge

The channel goes up under the roof edge, the runs are joined and terminated, and the controller is mounted and wired indoors, near power.
  3. 03

    Zones set, app ready

The installers set the zones up, leave the system running and the app ready to drive it, and take the ladders and the offcuts away.
Three stone gables at night seen from below, warm white nodes evenly spaced up every rake to each peak, washing light down the stone faces.
A garage eave at night above wood carriage doors, with a straight, evenly spaced cool white run along the full width of the trim board.

This is the part of the job worth paying somebody to do once. Level lines, even spacing and a clean run up to every peak are not luck.
