Permanent Lighting in Nolensville, TN

Nolensville houses of any age, from 1800s homes along Nolensville Road to new ones, can have permanent roofline LEDs from Permanent Lighting Solutions that our installers fit in a track that follows the roofline already there.

Nolensville is the Williamson County town about 22 miles southeast of Nashville. The permanent, app-controlled LED roofline lighting goes on a low-profile track under the eave, set up by licensed, insured and certified installers. Your phone runs it, with warm white for an ordinary evening and a holiday color whenever you want one.

Roofline lighting for Nolensville houses

William Nolen founded Nolensville in 1797, and it was first incorporated in 1838. It was re-incorporated in 1996, and the Town's own history page places it in the northeast corner of Williamson County. The Town's official population was 17,076 as of July 1, 2026, and buildings from the 1800s are still in use as homes and stores along Nolensville Road.

Whatever the age of the house, the track follows the roofline already in place and the lit run takes in every gable and corner, start to finish. In daylight the track shows as a thin strip under the eave, and only if you look for it. Other finished rooflines are in the gallery.

December 2026

Town Hall and Nolensville Road, 2026

Everything below is confirmed for 2026 on the Town of Nolensville's own event pages.

More parades and tree lightings from around the area are on our 2026 holiday lights calendar.

The 2026 tree lighting and parade weekend are laid out in our Nolensville holiday lights guide.

  • The Town's Veterans Day parade is Saturday, November 7, at 11:00 am.

  • The Town Events Advisory Committee hosts Storytime with Santa and Mrs. Claus on Friday, December 4, at 6:00 pm in the Board Room at Town Hall.

  • The tree lighting is at Town Hall that same Friday, starting at 7:00 pm, with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, a coffee food truck and the Nolensville High School Choir.

  • A Nolensville Holiday Parade runs Saturday, December 5, at 11:00 am. It begins at Rolling Hills Community Church, goes straight down Nolensville Road through the Historic District and ends on Nolensville Park Road.

Planning an install around December

The tree lighting and the parade are back to back, so the first weekend of December is the one to plan around. A house lit by Thursday, December 3 is lit for the tree lighting on Friday evening and for parade day on Saturday.

Weather and the property decide the actual install day, not the calendar. Give the installers the date you are aiming for and you work back from it together. Starting a few weeks ahead leaves slack for a rainy stretch.

The December setting

Christmas on the year-round Nolensville track

On a permanent system, Christmas is the roofline track you use all year, switched to a December scene. The controller already holds the holidays and their colors, and a zone can still be set by hand from your phone for something else. Red and green is one pick on the phone, or set a sunset schedule once and leave it. Nothing goes up in November, so there is nothing to take down in January.

That comparison has its own page if you are weighing permanent against hanging lights every winter.

Past the main roof

Warm white on a Nolensville porch

Outdoor lighting in Nolensville has the option of going beyond the main roof. The patio cover, the porch and a detached garage all have roof edges, and the channel runs along each of them to one controller.

Zones let warm white stay on the porch while the gables take a color, or let the back of the house go dark while the front is lit. Where each one falls is decided when the system is laid out.

By day the hardware leaves the face of the house alone. The channel is mounted to the fascia or beneath the soffit, and no fastener goes into the gutter or the roof surface. For a close look, see the system page. Coverage and upkeep are set out on the care page, and the pricing page explains where a system starts and what moves it from one house to the next.

After the parade

More than Christmas from one install

One install does more than Christmas. Warm white covers the weeknights, Halloween calls for orange, the Fourth for red, white and blue, and game day for your team's colors. The Town's calendar already lists a Star Spangled Celebration at Nolensville High School on Saturday, July 3, 2027, with food vendors, a Kid Zone, live entertainment and fireworks. New Year's, Valentine's, St Patrick's, Easter, Thanksgiving and Hanukkah each take a different setting on that channel, and that keeps permanent holiday lighting in use after Christmas comes down.

A change takes seconds on your phone, and a schedule saved once on install day runs every night after that. Nothing needs hanging and nothing new needs buying. Take a look at the presets before you decide, and read how app control works.
