Permanent Lighting in Hermitage, TN
In Hermitage, the Davidson County community where Andrew Jackson's home stands, Permanent Lighting Solutions sells LED roofline lights that run all year, and our installers fit them once, so nobody hangs lights in November or takes them down in January.
Hermitage is the Davidson County community of Nashville that holds Andrew Jackson's home. Permanent, app-controlled LED roofline lighting goes in here too. The track is low-profile and sits under the eave, put up by licensed, insured and certified installers. The phone controls everything, from warm white on an ordinary evening to a holiday color if that is what you want.

Hermitage houses between Donelson and Mt. Juliet
Hermitage sits just east of Donelson and just west of Mt. Juliet. The Tennessee Encyclopedia describes Jackson's home as now a public museum, eleven miles east of Nashville, and the Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce places the two communities between two recreational lakes and on the banks of two rivers.

A house of any age keeps its own roofline, and the track is fitted to it. Each gable and corner is followed by the lit run, from one end to the other. In daylight the track reads as a thin strip under the eave, easy to miss unless you look for it. If you want to see finished rooflines, there are more in the gallery.
Hermitage 2026: market, lamplight tours and parade
The Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce and The Hermitage itself confirm these Hermitage dates for 2026.
Holiday Market at the Mansion: an outdoor artisan and craft market on the grounds of Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, Saturday, November 21, from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday, November 22, from 10 am to 3 pm. The Chamber lists free admission and local food trucks.
Christmas by Lamplight Tour: The Hermitage lists a tour of the mansion and grounds by lantern light at 6:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays from November 13 through December 19, and on Saturday, December 26.
Jacksonian Christmas Festival at Tulip Grove: Saturday, December 5, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with live entertainment, hands-on activities, festive food and drinks, visits with Santa and a Christmas market.
Donelson Hermitage Holiday Hustle 5K Walk/Run: Saturday, December 5, from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The Chamber says the start and finish lines are at Donelson Pike and Bluefields Ave.
The 41st Annual Donelson Hermitage Christmas Parade: Saturday, December 5, at 4:00 pm. The Chamber says it begins at Elm Hill Pike and Donelson Pike and travels north on Donelson Pike, with floats, marching bands, community groups and Santa. It goes on rain or shine.

Market weekend and parade day in Hermitage
Two weekends matter here: Market weekend on November 21 and 22, and Saturday, December 5, when the festival, the 5K and the parade all fall on the same day. Lights on by Friday, November 20 are ready for the Market, and lights on by Friday, December 4 are ready for December 5.
The install date depends on your property and the weather, not on anything in the calendar. Name your target date and the installers plan back from it alongside you. Begin a few weeks early and a rainy stretch has room to pass.
Christmas lights near Andrew Jackson's home
At Christmas the year-round roofline lights simply move to a December scene, with the holidays and their colors already in the controller. For a different look, set a zone by hand from your phone. Red and green is available as a pick on the phone, and a sunset schedule needs setting only once. No lights get hung in November and none come down in January.
Anyone weighing permanent against putting lights up every winter will find a comparison page of its own.
Hermitage garages and patios on one controller
The channel can carry on past the main roof. Covered patios, porches and detached garages each have a roof edge, and each can be run back to the same controller.
Zones make that useful. The porch can be warm white while the gables take a color, and the back of the house can be dark with the front lit. Where each zone starts and stops is worked out in the system layout.
By day, with the lights off, nothing covers the face of the house. The channel runs along the fascia or beneath the soffit, and fasteners stay out of the gutter and the roof surface. See it close up on the system page. The care page sets out coverage and upkeep. The pricing page shows where a system begins and what changes it on a real house.

All year on the same install
The same installation runs warm white through the week and orange at Halloween. It goes red, white and blue for the Fourth and into your team's colors on game day. Easter, Valentine's, St Patrick's, Thanksgiving, New Year's and Hanukkah are all the same channel on another setting, so permanent holiday lighting has somewhere to go after Christmas comes down.
A change takes a few seconds from the phone, and the controller runs a schedule set once on install day every night. Nothing new to buy, nothing to hang. Presets are there to try first, and app control is explained on its own page.
Nearby: Mt. Juliet and Lebanon
Just east, permanent lighting in Mt. Juliet has a page of its own, as does permanent lighting in Lebanon, the Wilson County seat.
Old Hickory, another Davidson County community of Nashville, grew around a gunpowder plant on the Cumberland River. See Old Hickory permanent lighting. In Sumner County, Hendersonville lake houses have their own page.
