Who installs permanent lighting in Mt. Juliet, TN? Permanent Lighting Solutions does, through licensed, insured and certified installers, and the color and nightly schedule are yours to set in the app.
Mt. Juliet is the Wilson County city about 17 miles east of downtown Nashville, and the roofline lighting our installers put up there is LED, permanent and app-controlled, so it stays up for good.

Rooflines in Wilson County's largest city
The track is sized to the roofline already in place and fixed along it, and the lit run goes around each gable and corner without a break. By day you notice little more than the track, a thin strip under the eave.
The city between the lakes
Mt. Juliet sits mostly between Interstate 40 and U.S. 70, with Old Hickory Lake to the north and Percy Priest Lake to the south. Its motto is "City Between The Lakes," and it is the largest city in Wilson County. The census counted 2,879 people in Mt. Juliet in 1980 and 39,289 in 2020.
The name is thought to come from the Mount Juliet Estate, a manor house in County Kilkenny, Ireland, and it is the only U.S. city with that name. The city charter spells it Mt. Juliet and the U.S. Postal Service spells it Mount Juliet, so you will see both.

Mt. Juliet's 2026 parade and park dates
The Mt. Juliet Christmas Parade runs Saturday, December 12, 2026, at 11 am, with a rain date of Sunday, December 13, at 1 pm. The city lists the route as about 1.4 miles, from West Wilson Middle School to East Division, and the theme as "A Holly Dolly Christmas."
The parks department also lists Christmas in the Park for Tuesday, December 1, 2026, at Charlie Daniels Park. As of October 5, 2026, the city had not published a 2026 program for it. Local reporting on the 2025 event described families, businesses and community groups decorating Christmas trees along the park's walking trail.
A Christmas Tree Lighting is on our calendar too, but we show no date for it. The city's events list gives "Saturday, November 17th," and November 17, 2026 is a Tuesday, so we are waiting on the city to settle it. Every Mt. Juliet date is on our 2026 holiday lights calendar.
Christmas in the Park and this year's parade dates sit in our Mt. Juliet holiday lights guide.

Planning an install around parade weekend
The parade is the date to plan around, and it already has a backup day because weather can move it. Weather moves installs too. A roofline finished by Friday, December 11 is glowing for the parade and again if the rain date is used.
The install date follows your property and the forecast rather than the calendar. Name the day you are aiming for and the installers work backward from it with you; an early start leaves room for a rainy stretch.
Mt. Juliet Christmas, nothing to hang in November
At Christmas in Mt. Juliet the roofline lights that run the rest of the year simply switch to a December scene. Holiday colors are built into the controller, and each zone can be changed by hand from your phone. No one hangs anything in November or takes it down in January.
Hanging lights every winter is the other route, and that comparison has its own page.

Tying a Mt. Juliet patio into the controller
- Covered patio
- Porch
- Detached garage
The run does not have to end at the main roof. A covered patio, a porch or a detached garage has a roof edge of its own, and each can be tied into the same controller.
Zones let the porch stay warm white while the gables turn a color, and let the back of the house go dark while the front is lit. The system layout decides where each zone begins and ends.
By day, with the lights off, the face of the house is clear. The channel runs along the fascia or beneath the soffit, and no fastener is driven through the gutter or the roof surface. A closer look is on the system page.
Coverage and upkeep are laid out on the care page. Real roofs are in the gallery if you want to see one first. The pricing page covers the starting point of a system and what moves it from house to house.

Beyond December on one install
- Easter in the Park
- Fourth of July fireworks
- Halloween in the Park
After Christmas, the parks department's 2026 calendar goes on with Easter in the Park, a Fourth of July fireworks celebration and Halloween in the Park, and the lighting can match each one. Halloween can run orange, the Fourth red, white and blue, and game day your team's colors. Easter, St Patrick's, Valentine's and New Year's, along with Hanukkah and Thanksgiving, are picked from the app the same way.
A change from the phone takes a few seconds, and a schedule saved on install day means the controller runs it every night. You never buy anything new or hang anything. To see the colors first, try some presets; for how the phone side behaves, read about the app control.
Lebanon, the Wilson County seat, holds its Christmas parade on Sunday, December 6, six days before the Mt. Juliet parade on Saturday, December 12. See permanent lighting in Lebanon, TN.
