Permanent Lighting in Gallatin, TN
Gallatin houses, in the Sumner County seat about 30 miles northeast of Nashville, can have permanent LED roofline lighting from Permanent Lighting Solutions, fitted by our installers in a low-profile track.
Licensed, insured and certified installers do the fitting, and after that the lights answer to your phone: warm white for an ordinary evening, a holiday color when you want one.

Rooflines around the Gallatin square
Gallatin is a county seat with a central town square and, in part, a bedroom suburb of Nashville. Permanent outdoor lighting suits a town like that, whether the house is old or new. The track follows the roofline already in place, gable by gable and corner by corner, to the far end.
By day the track is a thin strip under the eave, and you have to look for it. The city itself was named for Albert Gallatin, the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, and the rest of its early history fits on one line of dates.

Gallatin's parade and Square market in 2026
The Gallatin Christmas Parade is set for noon on Saturday, December 12, 2026. The Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce, the organizer, says it ends with Santa Claus and describes floats, animals, first responders, bands, dancers and classic cars on Main Street and in the center of town.
A week earlier, on Saturday, December 5, 2026, Historic Downtown Gallatin holds A Merry Little Christmas Market on the Square from 10 am to 2 pm, with live carolers, hot chocolate and a photo with Santa from 10 to 11 am. It lists this as its third annual market. Before either one, the Chamber's Tinsel & Treasures "Shop Local" weekend runs November 13 to 15, with downtown retailers taking part.

The city also lists a free TubaChristmas concert for Tuesday, December 1, 2026, 7:00 pm, at Northfield Church. As of October 8, 2026 we found no 2026 date for a Gallatin tree lighting, so we show none. Everything else in the area is listed on our 2026 holiday lights calendar.
The parade, the Square market and the lights in nearby towns are gathered in the Gallatin holiday lights guide.
Gallatin's first two December weekends
The parade and the market fall a week apart, which makes the first two weekends of December the dates to plan around. Lights in place by Friday, December 4 are on for the market and the parade, and lights in place by Friday, December 11 are on for at least the parade.
Installs are booked around your property and the weather, not around the parade. Give the installers the date you have in mind and they will work backward from it with you; an early start leaves room for a rainy stretch.
Keep the same lights all year

- Concerts on the SquareThursday nights, June through September
- Skeletons InvadeA downtown hunt through October
Downtown Gallatin's calendar does not stop at Christmas, and the lights do not have to either: orange while the skeletons are out in October, your team's colors on game day, and red, white and blue for the Fourth. Permanent Christmas lights are simply the December setting on the same channel.
A switch takes a few seconds on your phone, and a schedule saved once on install day runs by itself each night. Start with the presets, then read the app control page to see how it works.
Goodlettsville, whose northern half is also in Sumner County, holds its Christmas parade at 4:00 pm on Saturday, December 5, which is also the date of Gallatin's market on the Square. See permanent Christmas lights in Goodlettsville.
