Permanent Lighting in Fairview, TN
Permanent Lighting Solutions serves Fairview, and our installers fit permanent roofline lighting there, on the western edge of Williamson County: LEDs seated in an aluminum channel beneath the eave, with the color picked on a phone.
Fairview is the Williamson County city on the county's western edge, about 20 miles southwest of downtown Nashville and about a mile southwest of the Davidson County line. Permanent LED roofline lighting for its houses is an aluminum channel under the eave that holds the lights, and licensed, insured and certified installers fit it. Once it is up, the phone chooses the color.

Land grants, the Natchez Trace and a 1959 charter
Settlers first put down roots in this part of Williamson County around 1798. Many early landowners held Revolutionary War land grants, and the veterans who chose not to settle often sold big tracts to speculators, who subdivided them and sold off smaller lots. The area stayed agricultural and rural through the first part of the 1900s. The Natchez Trace Parkway, over 440 miles long, runs a few miles from the middle of town and reaches milepost 444 near Fairview. Meriwether Lewis died on the Trace in 1809.
Interstate construction and the growth of Nashville in the mid-20th century brought new residents, and Fairview incorporated on July 28, 1959 under a city manager-commission charter.

Growth and households
The City counted 9,357 residents in the 2020 census and estimates 10,877 for July 2025, about 16 percent more in five years. That follows roughly 61 percent growth between 2000 and 2020. Fairview covers 17.3 square miles of land, about 630 residents per square mile, and has an estimated 3,528 households averaging 2.84 people. The home ownership rate is 76.9 percent and the median age is 32.7.
Interstate 40, State Routes 100 and 96 and TN 840 serve the city, and Interstate 65 is a short distance away.
The Historical Village
The Parks Department keeps a Historical Village on Highway 100 at Deer Ridge Road, across from the Williamson County Recreation Center. Three buildings of local historical importance stand there: the Triangle School, the Boone Street Medical Clinic and the Jingo Post Office. The City lists a farmers market pavilion and more community events among its plans for the site.
Bowie Nature Park
Bowie Nature Park is one of the largest city-managed parks in Tennessee, 722 acres on Highway 100 about a mile west of the 96 and 100 interchange. Its 17 miles of trail cross wetlands, grasslands, pine forest, oak and hickory forest, a riparian corridor and lowland bottomland. The Nature Center holds exhibits, art and the Bowie Museum, and the Treehouse Playground is open every day. Entry is free, and the park is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Fairview's City Hall tree and parade, 2026
Two Fairview dates are confirmed for 2026, both on the City of Fairview's own site.
Tree Lighting Event at City Hall: Friday, December 4. The listing gives the date and nothing else, so no time or program is shown here.
Christmas Parade, themed "Hard Candy Christmas": Saturday, December 5. Arrival for parade entrants begins at 8:00 a.m. at the staging location and the step-off is at 10:00 a.m. In bad weather the City's reschedule day is December 12.
Dates for other towns can be found on our 2026 holiday lights calendar.
Getting the roofline done before December 4
A roofline finished by Thursday, December 3 is ready for the tree lighting on Friday and the parade on Saturday, and it is still ready if rain slides the parade to December 12. The parade steps off at 10:00 a.m., so the evenings around it are when a roofline shows. Tell the installers which weekend you are aiming at and the work is scheduled backward from it, with room for a wet week.
Fairview Christmas looks, booked weeks ahead
Each house gets a channel that is custom color matched before it goes up, dark bronze under a dark soffit and white under white trim, so that by day it reads as part of the roof edge. The controller goes indoors, usually in the garage or a utility room with power and wifi, and one controller runs up to eight zones. The system page shows the parts, and the care page covers the manufacturer's 5-year product warranty and our installers' workmanship warranty, and what upkeep means.
In the app, holiday looks can be booked weeks ahead and sunrise and sunset timers bring the house on with the sky. Choose from over 16,000,000 colors on one wheel, or tap a preset for Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving and the rest, then save your own. Nothing is strung up in November or taken down in January.
Nearby: Franklin and Brentwood
The City's profile names Brentwood, Franklin and Spring Hill as the Williamson County cities within quick reach. Two of them have pages here: permanent lighting in Franklin, the county seat, and permanent lighting in Brentwood.
