Permanent Lighting in Bellevue, TN
Each light draws 0.96 watts, so an average Permanent Lighting Solutions system of 250 lights on a Bellevue house draws 240 watts with every light at full brightness.
Under the roof edge of a Bellevue house sits an aluminum channel that matches the trim color, with the lights seated inside it. Licensed, insured and certified installers fit it, and from then on the colors are a matter for your phone.

An unincorporated community of Nashville
Bellevue is an unincorporated community of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County. The Bellevue Harpeth Chamber of Commerce dates itself to September 1979, when the publisher of the former Westview ran a notice in his paper inviting anyone interested to a luncheon at a Bellevue restaurant. His view was that unincorporated Bellevue needed a voice. He hoped for ten people and more than three dozen came, and by the next year the new chamber had over 100 members.

Warner Parks, the Trace and the river
The chamber says more than 60 percent of Bellevue is protected by land conservation, and it calls the Warner Parks the crown jewel of Metro Parks. Metro's Warner Park Nature Center describes itself as the jump-off point for over 3,100 acres across Burch Reserve, Percy Warner Park and Edwin Warner Park, and the Warner Parks are open from sunrise to 11:00 p.m. every day of the year. Bellevue is also the northern trailhead of the 444-mile Natchez Trace Parkway.
The Harpeth River Greenway has three sections, all in Bellevue. The longest, from Warner Park to Morton Mill, is 7.3 miles of mostly paved trail beside the Little Harpeth and Harpeth rivers. Metro's list of greenway projects adds a 0.7-mile link from the existing trail on Morton Mill Road to a pedestrian bridge, with groundbreaking expected in late 2026. Harpeth River State Park, a linear park along the river, takes in Newsom's Mill, one of the oldest gristmills in Davidson County, and Hidden Lake, a quarry that became a resort in the 1930s.
Red Caboose Park and the community center
Metro's Bellevue Park is better known as Red Caboose Park, for the playground and the full-size red caboose on the site, and the chamber says it hosts private and public events. Metro Parks' Bellevue Community Center, at 7638A Highway 70 South, has a full-service fitness center, an NBA-sized gymnasium, painting and pottery studios, and indoor and outdoor walking and running tracks.
The Holidays in the Vue parade, 2026
One Bellevue date is confirmed for 2026, on the organizer's own home page.
Holidays in the Vue parade: Saturday, December 5, at 10 a.m. It stages at Bellevue Middle School on Colice Jeanne Road, runs about 1.2 miles along Highway 70 South and Sawyer Brown Road, and ends at One Bellevue Place. The organizer lists more than 65 floats, vehicles, walking groups and performers, with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Holidays in the Vue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that four volunteers founded in 2024, and its committee also keeps a lit display at the Highway 70 South and Old Harding Pike beautification site until early January. Dates from around the area are gathered on our 2026 holiday lights calendar.
Timing an install around parade day
The parade steps off in the morning, so the house gets its turn that evening. Put the roofline on a sunset schedule and it lights itself at dusk, and a finish by Friday, December 4 means it is ready for the Saturday. Give the installers the date you are working toward, and a start in November leaves a spare week if rain holds up the work.
Bellevue Christmas lights seen from Highway 70

The channel is the one part fixed to the house. It runs along the fascia or soffit, no fastener goes through the gutter and nothing goes through the shingles, and from Highway 70 you see the glow rather than the fitting. The lights seat inside it facing down. The system page shows the close-up, and the care page lays out what is covered.
One controller goes indoors, usually in the garage or a utility room, and the app handles the rest: any color off the wheel, sunset timers, and a different look on the front and over the garage at the same time. Red and green carry December, and warm white serves the rest of the year. At 0.96 watts a light and about 250 lights on an average house, 240 watts is the ceiling, and color draws less than bright white, so most evenings sit well under it. The presets page lets you try the looks first.
